Lorton Meadows Conservation Centre and Reserve
Lorton Lane, Weymouth, Dorset, DT3 5QH
At the start of the Legacy Trail, the Lorton Meadows Reserve has fantastic views down the Lorton Valley Nature Park, and across Weymouth Bay to Portland. It has a lovely variety of meadows, woodlands and hedgerows with plenty of wildlife to look for, throughout the year. Visit the Conservation Centre with a picnic area and circular walks and see what's on the live web cams. Activities are run regularly. See the web site for information and opening hours. There are volunteering opportunities at the centre and on the reserve.
