Located at the entrance of Weymouth Harbour the fort offers amazing views of the coastline from outdoor passages while it also offers what only can be described as a labyrinth of passage ways underground. The fort is constructed on three levels which are easily accessible by a lift.
The fort has a wealth of displays, cinema areas that chart the history of the Fort and the uses it has played in its history and of course mammoth guns. This Victorian structure now plays host to a wide range of events and so there is always something going on for everyone, although do watch out, the Fort is haunted.
There are some really great events happening all year round at Nothe Fort, including many music events and arts and crafts, there is also a wonderful café to stop for a spot of lunch.
