Monkey World
If you are looking for a fun filled, fascinating day out that the whole family will love then Monkey World is where you will find exactly that!
Monkey World is an Ape Rescue Centre in Wareham. It is situated just outside Weymouth. The 65 acre park is home to stars of TV's Monkey Business and Monkey Life. It provides sanctuary for rescued and endangered primates from all around the world.
Some of the primates at Monkey World are now part of international breeding programmes for endangered species. The park includes Europe's official orang-utan crèche!
To say that there is a lot to learn and a lot of fun to have at the park is a fairly big understatement. There is so much to do and see at the park that all of the family will have a truly unforgettable day.
While you are there you can learn some interesting stories about some the primates at the park. You can also discover some amazing facts about the all of the species. During your visit you will also learn about the amazing work that the park is doing to rescue and rehabilitate primates from all around the world.

The park is well laid out and spacious for the visitors and the primates. There is a café on site which serves good value hot and cold meals. There are public toilets situated throughout the park to ensure that you can spend the whole day there. The facilities available ensure that you have a lot of fun and learn a lot without wanting for anything!
